SVP OF OPERATIONS

Company background

World Class Health was built to solve one of healthcare’s most expensive and overlooked problems: when employees face high-stakes medical decisions, they often lack access to trusted, high-quality care at an affordable cost.

Traditional healthcare systems force patients to navigate rising costs, fragmented care, limited visibility into provider quality, and unclear out-of-pocket exposure, often during the most vulnerable moments of their lives. WCH exists to change that. Through our medically led Global Centers of Excellence platform, AI-driven insights, transparent provider relationships, and concierge care navigation, we connect patients to top 1% care globally while helping employers reduce healthcare costs and improve outcomes.

WCH focuses on high-cost specialty care episodes including orthopedics, spine, cardiac care, oncology, imaging, infusion, and complex surgical needs. Our model combines predictive analytics, proactive outreach, nurse-led care management, direct provider contracting, and transparent bundled pricing to help employers lower costs while improving the patient experience.

Our Vision - World Class Health’s vision is the compass that guides every strategic decision we make as we grow, scale, and serve more patients around the world. To create a world where everyone can access the best possible care, regardless of where they live or their circumstances.

Our Mission - To empower employees and their families to overcome geographic, financial, and informational barriers to accessing top 1% care all around the world.

Role: Care Navigator (USA)

Role Description

We're looking for a Care Navigator to help members simplify how they navigate imaging and other diagnostic, surgical, and clinical needs.

You'll work alongside automated outreach and clinical navigation teams, stepping in when a human conversation, persistence, or judgment is needed. Members you'll speak with are US-based, so this role calls for fluent, natural English on the phone.

This is also an early-stage operation. We have playbooks, scripts, and SOPs — but they will evolve. We want someone who can execute the process well while also noticing where it can be better.

What you'll do

  • Proactively call members and introduce the World Class Health benefit
  • Quickly establish credibility and trust during outbound calls
  • Explain benefits in simple, member-friendly language, including coverage, expected cost, facility options, and next steps
  • Follow up with members by phone, text, and email to keep cases moving
  • Manage a caseload of members at different stages of the engagement and scheduling process
  • Accurately document outreach, conversations, and outcomes in Salesforce
  • Follow established scripts and workflows while using good judgment when a conversation does not fit the script
  • Identify patterns in member behavior and share feedback to help optimize the product
  • Test new messaging, outreach approaches, and workflows as the program evolves

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate’s degree combined with healthcare or operations experience
  • Experience working remotely in a fast paced environment
  • Comfortable making outbound calls to people you have never spoken with before
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Able to explain healthcare and benefit information clearly without sounding scripted
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing a pipeline or caseload with multiple follow-ups
  • Curious and willing to experiment rather than assuming the current process is the final process
  • Comfortable working in an environment where priorities, scripts, and SOPs will evolve as we learn
  • High-energy, proactive, and willing to jump into problems rather than wait for someone else to solve them
  • Sound judgment about when to solve something yourself and when to escalate

Nice to have

  • Experience at an early stage startup, healthcare startup, or digital health company
  • Experience in radiology or diagnostic imaging – bonus points for experience as an X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, or mammography technologist
  • Experience working directly with patients at an inpatient or outpatient imaging center
  • Patient access, care navigation, referral coordination, scheduling, or healthcare operations experience
  • Outbound sales, inside sales, SDR, or other phone-heavy customer engagement experience
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM
  • Familiarity with health insurance benefits, eligibility, prior authorization, or referral workflows

Who thrives in this role

You’ll probably enjoy this role if you like talking to people, solving problems in real time, and figuring out how to make a process work better.

We’re looking for someone who can operate with discipline and curiosity: follow the playbook, learn from what happens, and help us improve it.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA / New York City Region, NY-NJ-CT.  Must be able to be in office up to 6 days a month

Compensation: $65-70k+ equity and benefit
