CHIEF NETWORK OFFICER (CNO)

Company background

World Class Health was built to solve one of healthcare’s most expensive and overlooked problems: when employees face high-stakes medical decisions, they often lack access to trusted, high-quality care at an affordable cost.

Traditional healthcare systems force patients to navigate rising costs, fragmented care, limited visibility into provider quality, and unclear out-of-pocket exposure, often during the most vulnerable moments of their lives. WCH exists to change that. Through our medically led Global Centers of Excellence platform, AI-driven insights, transparent provider relationships, and concierge care navigation, we connect patients to top 1% care globally while helping employers reduce healthcare costs and improve outcomes.

WCH focuses on high-cost specialty care episodes including orthopedics, spine, cardiac care, oncology, imaging, infusion, and complex surgical needs. Our model combines predictive analytics, proactive outreach, nurse-led care management, direct provider contracting, and transparent bundled pricing to help employers lower costs while improving the patient experience.

Our Vision - World Class Health’s vision is the compass that guides every strategic decision we make as we grow, scale, and serve more patients around the world. To create a world where everyone can access the best possible care, regardless of where they live or their circumstances.

Our Mission - To empower employees and their families to overcome geographic, financial, and informational barriers to accessing top 1% care all around the world.

Nurse Navigator (RN)- Hybrid role

Role Description

The VP-Business Development will assist the Chief Network Officer (CNO) and network team in expanding the WCH network for surgical, speciality, cancer, and other clinical service lines. You’ll be responsible for lead identification, communication, rate negotiation, and contract negotiations for defined service lines and target locations.

This is a builder role. You will define the playbook from network strategy through contracted bundles to operational launch, and you will be measured on signed partnerships, contracted rates, and service-line readiness for our employer book.

Core Mandate

  • Expand the network. Identify, prioritize, and close COE partnerships with leading programs — academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, and specialty groups. Evaluate partnerships vs. direct contracting opportunities in priority markets.
  • Negotiate competitive rates. Lead commercial negotiations with health system VPs of Managed Care, Payer Strategy, and Business Development. Structure case rates that hit WCH's economics while remaining attractive to provider partners.
  • Run clinical and commercial tracks in parallel. Engage clinical program chairs to establish clinical credibility while moving contracting conversations forward with managed care leadership.
  • Translate contracts into product. Partner with Network Operations, Clinical, Legal, and our employer-facing Sales team to convert signed contracts into client-ready offerings — geo-access models, employer collateral, reference stories, and operational handoffs.
  • Own the numbers. Set, track, and hit quarterly partnership and contracting targets.

Required experience

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in business development, partnerships, network development, or provider contracting in healthcare. Direct experience with bundled payments, COE networks, value-based contracting, or specialty service line growth strongly preferred.
  • Startup experience is mandatory. You've built something from zero — a function, a region, a product line — where no playbook existed when you started. You are comfortable in ambiguity, you make decisions with incomplete information, and you ship.
  • A demonstrated track record in enthusiastically working hard, clear, direct communication with colleagues and external stakeholders, and smart, independent business judgment
  • A track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder commercial agreements with health systems or specialty groups.
  • Existing relationships with health system business development and managed care leaders and/or oncology platform leadership. You can get serious meetings with five or more VPs of Managed Care at top-50 academic medical center inside three weeks.
  • Working fluency in the economics of bundled episodes, case rates, DRG scope, and risk-sharing structures.

Ideal candidate

  • Cardiac or oncology service line experience inside a health system, payer, or COE/value-based care company.
  • Rolodex in the academic cardiology or oncology communities.
  • Experience launching new service lines or new geographic markets at a high-growth healthcare company.
  • Familiarity with employer benefits buyers and consultants — even if you've sat on the supply side.

If you're excited about building something meaningful, thrive in high-accountability environments, and want your work to directly improve how people access life-changing healthcare, we'd love to hear from you.
